Stamped Concrete Patios in Park City, UT

Decorative stamped concrete that looks like stone, slate, or wood plank — built to handle Park City winters, snow load, and de-icer exposure without the shifting that plagues pavers.

Outdoor living

A patio that looks like flagstone and lasts like concrete

Stamped concrete gives you the look of stone, slate, or wood plank without the maintenance headache. At Park City elevation, pavers and flagstone shift and settle once the frost cycles start. A properly poured stamped patio doesn't.

Summit was founded in January 2024 and is run in the field by Jurgen Becker, a Utah contractor since August 11, 1998. We work with Park City homeowners and custom-home GCs to pick patterns and colors that match the architecture, then pour to specs that hold up through ten Wasatch winters.

Patio options

  • Stamped patterns — ashlar slate, cobblestone, flagstone, brick, wood plank, custom
  • Integral color — pigment mixed through the whole slab so a chip doesn't show white
  • Color hardener — surface-applied color for deeper tones and a harder wear layer
  • Exposed aggregate — natural stone texture with real slip resistance
  • Broom finish — the straight-forward option for pool decks and walkways
  • Combination finishes — stamped borders with broom or aggregate field

Applications

More than just patios

Decorative concrete works for any outdoor surface where you want the finish to look intentional and the base to not move.

Backyard patios

Dining area, fire pit surround, or full outdoor living room. Poured to drain away from the house, leveled so the furniture sits right.

Pool decks

Slip-resistant textures and drainage slopes that move pool splash away from the coping. Chlorine and sun don't scare finished concrete.

Walkways and paths

Front entry, side yard, garden runs. Decorative concrete paths that match the house style and don't heave when the ground freezes.

Outdoor kitchens

A durable, cleanable slab under grills, islands, and built-in seating. Sealed to resist oil, wine, and bearnaise.

Front porches and entries

A decorative front slab does more for curb appeal than most landscaping upgrades. Poured to take daily traffic and boot scrape.

Steps and risers

Consistent rise and tread dimensions, stamped to match the patio. Safe in winter because the finish holds texture through freeze cycles.

Durability

Park City winters eat cheap patios. These specs don't break.

Stamped concrete at altitude needs more than good looks. Air-entrained mixes for freeze-thaw, proper sealers, properly spaced joints, and a finishing timing that doesn't trap water under the surface. Get any of those wrong and the patio scales in year three.

Patio specs

Stamped / decorative

Slab thickness

4inches

Standard residential patio, with welded wire or fiber mesh sized for the pattern.

Air entrainment

5–7%

Required for Severe weathering exposure. Without it, decorative patios scale in two winters.

Control joints

8–10ft OC

Tighter spacing on stamped patios because the pattern depth weakens the section.

Drainage slope

¼″per foot

Away from the house. Steeper than a driveway because snow melt volume is lower and pooling is the enemy.

Sealer reapply

2–3years

We give you the product, the timing, and the reapplication schedule before we leave the site.

Pattern tolerance

⅛″flatness

Measured with a 10-foot straightedge. Tighter than code. Furniture sits flat, water moves where it should.

Weathering · Severe · IRC R402.2 Finish tolerance · ACI 117
